Docket 04 · Compliance calendar
The deadlines that keep a company alive, kept where you can see them.
More US companies die of missed paperwork than of bad products. A state report filed late, a franchise tax forgotten, a license lapsed — each starts quietly and ends in administrative dissolution. Hosted exists for this docket: your obligations on one calendar, watched by a desk whose job is the watching.
Included in Hosted, $79/mo — take the intake quiz or go to checkout.
How states keep companies alive — it is not one system
There is no national rulebook. Florida wants an annual report between January 1 and May 1 and punishes lateness steeply. Delaware takes a $300 tax from LLCs by June 1 and a full report plus franchise tax from corporations by March 1. California restates its agent in a Statement of Information, annual for corporations and biennial for LLCs, and suspends companies that miss it. Nevada renews an annual list and a state business license together. Pennsylvania’s newer annual report takes $7 from LLCs by September 30, first due the year after formation. Ohio and Arizona ask LLCs for nothing periodic at all — and Texas routes the yearly obligation through the Comptroller’s franchise-tax report instead. Your state page states your state’s own rule.
What Hosted does with those dates
- The calendar. Your entity’s obligations — state report or tax, registered agent renewal, and federal items like Form 5472 — are entered on your compliance calendar at formation, from your state’s actual rules and your filing receipt, never from a template guess.
- Reminders, best efforts. Sethhost’s own system issues deadline reminders. They are best efforts, not a guarantee that every deadline will be identified or met, and you remain responsible for your filing deadlines. We would rather print that sentence than print a promise we cannot keep.
- The filing itself. Annual report filing service is inside Hosted for your formation state — the desk prepares it in its window and it is confirmed by you before submission, with the state’s fee charged separately at cost. Nothing files on autopilot. Non-Hosted entities can buy a standalone filing for $129.
When a deadline is missed anyway
Late fees first, then loss of good standing, then — in most states — administrative dissolution. The repair is reinstatement, from $499 plus what the state is owed, and it is far more expensive than the calendar that prevents it. Our annual reports guide walks the state-by-state reality in full.
Filing processing fee: 3% of the total order amount, charged by our fulfillment provider, CorpNet, where it applies to your order, including on pass-through charges within the order. It is shown as its own itemized line at checkout and is not Sethhost revenue.
Questions on this filing
Do you file in every state’s window automatically?
No — nothing files automatically. The annual report filing inside Hosted is prepared by the desk in the state’s window and confirmed by you before submission, the same posture as every other filing here. You see it on the calendar beforehand and in your portal documents when it is done.
What if I formed elsewhere and only want the calendar and filings?
That is exactly the standalone route: annual report filing at $129 per filing, plus the state fee.
Are tax filings included?
State reports and franchise-tax filings that ride with them are tracked on the calendar. Federal tax preparation — including Form 5472 — is a preparer’s work: see the Form 5472 page for its waitlist status.
