Sethhost vs Bizee (Incfile): one-time packages vs the hosted bundle

Bizee will form your LLC for $0 plus the state fee. Sethhost's first term is $948 before the state fee. This page does not try to talk its way around that gap — it lays out what each model actually includes, where the ongoing money goes in both columns, and which situations each model genuinely fits, with every Bizee figure taken from Bizee's own pages on November 7, 2026.

How this comparison was built

Bizee — the company many founders first met as Incfile, its former name — sells formation in three one-time packages, the first of them priced at $0 plus the state fee. Sethhost sells one subscription. This is the sharpest model difference in the comparison guides: pay once for the filing, or pay monthly for the filing plus the operating layer around it. Neither model is a trick; they are answers to different questions, and this page prints the criteria for choosing between them.

Every Bizee fact below comes from Bizee's own published pages, fetched and checked on November 7, 2026 — its LLC formation pages and its Wyoming LLC guide. Every Sethhost fact comes from Sethhost's own pricing page and service agreement. One item could not be verified on Bizee's package pages — whether its EIN service covers the no-SSN fax route — and the table says exactly that instead of guessing.

Sethhost's own terms, stated in its own column first. Hosted is $79 per month with a 12-month initial term — a first-term total of $948, before the state fee and the filing processing fee. That term is a real commitment and it is disclosed here and on the pricing page, not saved for checkout. Formation is included in the first term; after the first term the membership continues month-to-month at $79, auto-renews, and can be cancelled from the portal. Enrollment screens applicants at intake, and Sethhost serves founders based outside the United States. The registered agent of record is CorpNet, Incorporated, Sethhost's wholesale partner, named in the service agreement before you pay.

EIN — including with no SSNHandling included in the first term, including the no-SSN IRS fax workflow (typically 15–25 business days on Sethhost's published figures)EIN is included in Standard and Premium, not in Basic. Bizee's package pages checked for this guide do not state whether its EIN service handles the no-SSN route; Bizee's own Wyoming guide directs a founder with no SSN or ITIN to file Form SS-4 with the IRS by fax or mail — so if that is your situation, confirm coverage with Bizee before ordering
Website, domain, and US phoneA five-page website built for you (live in 14 days from content handoff), domain for the first year, hosting and care, and a configured US business number, inside the membershipPremium includes a domain name, business email, and a business phone number, per Bizee's package pages. No website build or hosting service is listed in the Bizee packages on the pages checked for this guide

Who it is built forFounders based outside the US, screened at intake, who want filing, agent, EIN, website, and calendar under one subscriptionAny founder who wants the formation bought once, at the lowest entry price in this comparison set, and is content to assemble the rest separately

First-year money, like for like

Bizee is the cheapest way in this comparison set to get a company formed, and it is not close. A Wyoming LLC on Bizee's Basic package costs the $100 Wyoming state fee and nothing for the formation itself, with a year of registered agent service included. Its Standard package — the tier with the EIN and an operating agreement — is $199 plus the same $100 state fee. Sethhost's first term for the same Wyoming company prices on this site's calculator at $1,079.44: the $948 membership year, the $100 state fee, and the 3% filing processing fee.

The difference is not a filing-quality claim — it is scope and time. Bizee's prices end at formation and the first agent year; the agent then renews at $149 a year, and the website, its hosting, and the ongoing filing help are separate arrangements you make yourself. Sethhost's price keeps going for twelve months because the service keeps going: the built website and its care, the phone number, the calendar, and the annual report filing service. A founder who needs only the company formed is overpaying in the Sethhost column, and a founder who needs the operating layer will assemble it somewhere — the honest question this table exists to answer is whether you want to assemble it yourself.

Where Sethhost is the weaker choice

Sethhost's weaknesses, stated in full:

  • Sethhost is new and small. It publishes no count of businesses formed, because it does not have a large one to publish. The established providers on this page have served founders at a scale Sethhost has not reached.
  • No preparer service. Sethhost does not prepare your tax filings. Form 5472 and federal filing help is waitlist-only, delivered by a qualified preparer engaged for that service when that engagement is in place; until then the obligation sits on your compliance calendar with a plain-language explanation, and the filing itself is yours or your CPA's.
  • Banking is document preparation, never account opening. Sethhost assembles the document file a bank or a payment provider asks for. It does not open accounts, and it never promises a bank's or Stripe's approval — that decision belongs to the provider alone.
  • The 12-month initial term. If your plans are uncertain, a one-time filing you can walk away from may fit better than a year of membership. We would rather lose the comparison on that point honestly than hide the term.
  • Bizee's entry price is $0 plus the state fee. Against that, Sethhost's first term is $948 before the state fee. No honest framing makes the subscription the cheaper way to form a company, and this page does not attempt one.
  • Bizee operates at a scale Sethhost does not. Bizee's own formation page states that over one million businesses have been formed through it. Sethhost is a new desk; if a long operating history at volume is your deciding criterion, this column loses it.

Which column fits your situation

  • You want the company formed at the lowest possible entry cost, full stop. Bizee Basic, at $0 plus the state fee with a year of agent service included, is that route among the paid services — and the do-it-yourself route is cheaper still in cash if you can solve the registered agent yourself.
  • You want the EIN and an operating agreement in the same one-time order. Bizee Standard, at $199 plus the state fee — with the no-SSN caveat in the table above confirmed first if it applies to you.
  • You are abroad and want the operating layer run, not assembled — a built website with hosting and care, a US number, the calendar, and the annual report filing inside one subscription. That is the Sethhost column, term and all.
  • You are testing an idea. A one-time package fits a test; a 12-month initial term does not.
